Welcome back, folks!
I hope you enjoyed the first weekend in June and had an opportunity to spend some time with friends and family.
This is the time of year that you see many of my favorite toys, custom cars and motorcycles. They seemed to have been everywhere during the past week, as there was a huge meetup in nearby York PA. There were so many awesome rides from yesteryear up and down the highways it sort of seemed like another era. I will be sharing many of the photos as we wind our way through the Summer and into Fall.
Today we have a classic 1938 Ford. I captured this while out for breakfast a couple days ago. While I love the huge auto shows and meetups, I prefer to photo custom cars in an everyday environment. Things just seem to flow better and it’s a melding of the old times with today’s modern world. So without further delay, a beautiful street rod from New York.

Smooth and sleek, I really like the lines on this classic and the fact that it is not overly detailed.
This was a 3-shot bracket (-2 to +2) that was run through HDR Efex Pro before being imported into Photoshop where it received my usual cleanup and enhancements. The New York license plate (bright orange) clashed with the car itself so I installed one of my background graphics to the lower portion of the plate as an overlay.
