Every city and town has them, those wonderful places with the modest setting, great atmosphere and outstanding cuisine. The Bistro. I love dining in them, they are my quickie trips to Paris (since I’ve never been there).

I have always been drawn to architectural styles with clean and repeating lines. The symmetry of patterns created from such designs just exudes a peaceful harmony for me. Throw in a few arches and some earth-tone colors and I will happily create a photo or three.
Today we take a peek at canoes at Lake Redman, the 290 acre watershed in southern Pennsylvania’s York County. The lake can be accessed via the picturesque William H Kain County Park.

During our recent visit to South Carolina I had a serendipitous moment when we stopped to take a break while out cycling. Dismounting the bike in a nice shady spot I looked up to see these lines and shadows before me and knew I had to grab a shot.
