Welcome back!

In today’s post we have a harbor scene showing a pier where boat rentals is the business of the day. It’s a huge draw for both locals and tourist alike, providing an opportunity to cruise go sightseeing around the harbor. The once popular paddle boats have been replaced with the more modern electric motor models in many places. While you will not get nearly as much exercise, you can certainly cover a greater distance for your exploration of the area.

A couple of things to notice in this image; The bow section of the tall ship KRI Dewaruci which is operated by the Indonesian Navy was in port during Baltimore’s Sailabration event. Built in 1932, she continues to sail the oceans of the world.

The second thing I will point out is the lighthouse scene on the boat rental shed. It’s one of my previously posted images entitled Yankee Point Light. The shed was somewhat plain looking with no signage or anything so I thought I would take advantage of the space. A burn line was added across the top of the image in Photoshop to create a shadow from the roof above.

Thanks so much for visiting!
