Happy Friday, everyone!

It’s been another great week in the photo blog community with so many inspiring images being created. It’s truly a pleasure to visit many of the sites on the circuit. Like many of you, I wish there was more time to hangout and enjoy.

Today it’s a quick spin through Atlantic City and a night shot of Caesars Atlantic City Casino. The clock tower in the foreground is part of a facade attached to buildings and shops surrounding Caesars. But I liked the pastel look of it and decided to split the tower with the corner of the building behind it.

One last look… a monotone conversion, which ties the two structures together.

Super images Jimi. Although I am usually a color guy, I am really digging the tones in the B&W version. Have a great weekend.

I like the color one as it adds some depth between the clock and building.

Bold and Beautiful, Jimi. Both are great but the color is a knockout!!!!

  9. Nice composition, Jimi. Clever idea to make the clock tower appear as if a separate entity from the main hotel rather than part of the overall facade. This is one image where both the color and B&W treatments work equally well, even though each highlights a different aspect of the image.

This actually looks better (to me, anyway) in black and white. I really like the tonality in it.
