In a previous post I mentioned how I was fortunate enough to explore the historic district of Harpers Ferry West Virginia and pretty much had the town to myself. Many of the buildings there were quite old but had been refurbished, while keeping their originality in-tact.
This was such a cool place to explore. The Appalachian Trail runs through Harpers Ferry and I was able to walk along the trail from West Virginia to Maryland in a matter of minutes. I passed a sign that pointed north to Maine, 1165 miles away and south to Georgia, which was 1013 miles. Made for a nice reference point but no one I know will walk that distance, least off all me.
Below is an image of a covered wagon, but not in the traditional sense of the term.
Have a great day and we’ll catch you in the next post.
