A quick post and run today.

After a stormy night with lights flickering on several occasions, I find this image to be quite fitting. This image was captured in 2011 after a night of storms while spending a weekend on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Heading out to the Chesapeake Bay from the Slaughter Creek Marina this scene of a clearing sky drew my attention.

A black and white conversion, which strikes a different mood in my view, is below.

  4. Amazing yellow color in the sky, Jimi! This one definitely has the edge over the monochrome version because of the contrast between the yellow sky and the blue of the house in the shade (blue and yellow always create a nice contrast).
