One early Fall morning (2011) as the trees had began their annual change toward more robust colors, I grabbed this shot in Baltimore’s Federal Hill section, which borders the inner harbor. It’s where I shot this sunrise and this “under the gun” view. This time I was nearby and decided to catch some of the morning light, although it was well past sunrise. Along the left edge of this image (midway) you can see the historic Domino Sugar plant and it’s iconic neon sign. Just below that there is what looks like a huge birds nest toward the foreground. It’s actually a creative way to get a little privacy on a balcony. :-)

Ahh, my historic hometown of Baltimore, it’s more than just “The Wire”, this nation’s history runs deep here. Anyhow, hope you enjoy today’s image.

Thanks for visiting!

Beautiful shot Jimi. I like the light and how you used the sidewalk as a leading line. I am old enough to remember this area before the Inner Harbor was redone. Quite an amazing turn around.

Thanks, Eden. If you’re new to Twitter, no worries, just take your time and have fun. Give a yell if you’re in need of help or there are tons of how-to articles online (Google). It’s a great platform because you have to get right to the point in a creative manner. :-)

      Thanks for swinging by, Mike.
I am indeed a Ravens fan, hard to be otherwise living in the same zipcode. I also work there occasionally as part of my county duties. Having managed 12 wins this season, there are plenty of other teams that wish they were in that boat. Will they go all the way? We’ll see. It’s the NFL and anything can happen. Besides, whose to fear? I like their chances. :-)
