One early Fall morning (2011) as the trees had began their annual change toward more robust colors, I grabbed this shot in Baltimore’s Federal Hill section, which borders the inner harbor. It’s where I shot this sunrise and this “under the gun” view. This time I was nearby and decided to catch some of the morning light, although it was well past sunrise. Along the left edge of this image (midway) you can see the historic Domino Sugar plant and it’s iconic neon sign. Just below that there is what looks like a huge birds nest toward the foreground. It’s actually a creative way to get a little privacy on a balcony.
Ahh, my historic hometown of Baltimore, it’s more than just “The Wire”, this nation’s history runs deep here. Anyhow, hope you enjoy today’s image.
