Welcome back!
Featured in this post we have a boat representing the famed New York Fire Department’s “Firefighter II”, a state-of-the-art quick response vessel. I say “representing” because the real Firefighter II is quite different in styling, which can be immediately seen by looking at it’s superstructure. There is also one other important fact, this vessel is not in NYC. It’s located in Las Vegas outside of the New York New York Hotel & Casino where everything is modeled after the Big Apple. A fantastic place I might add. 
I posted this image a couple of days after arriving in the glamorous desert city where some great memories were created.

This boat display is pretty cool to look at and as one can imagine, very popular for tourist with cameras. To my surprise, I found only a couple of these images online.
There was once a green painted “Firefighter I” on display here but has been removed for some reason. Perhaps it’s being repainted red and white to match the above.
