Foggy Farm
Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you enjoyed the weekend, the last of the Fall season here in the U S. Spring arrives in two days, although it seems to have been here for a couple of weeks now.
Out super early Saturday morning and traveling through a valley flanked by farmland, I encountered a heavy fog. But no worries, Mother Nature provided some lovely rays of faint color. The image below was taken around 7:30 am. Getting this into the digital darkroom and processing the 3-exposure bracket (0, +2, -2) I soon discovered some nice tones that I was happy with.
Many of the buildings were barely visible during this hour but an hour or so later was a completely different story. The wonders of nature.
Have a great day!

The wonders of nature, indeed. And I’m impressed you’re up-and-about that early on a Saturday morning, Jimi.

THat’s a killer shot Jimi. The colors coupled with the fence and the fog is compelling.

Wow really beautiful Jimi. I was out early on Saturday and was greeted with a heavy fog as well but unfortunately in my case the sun never made its debut that day. Oh well there’s always next weekend.

Mother nature at her very best – and probably nobody really saw anything! Those colors and the contrast of the silhouette of the fence are perfect.

It’s great that you posted this beautiful farm shot. I have been spending a lot of time out in our country side, here in Ontario and it’s always so refreshing. I sometimes wish I could move out of the suburbs and live on a farm
I really love the mood and lighting in this photo, Jimi!
