Welcome to the weekend!
Maryland, like Kentucky is huge in the horse racing industry. With horse breeding farms scattered all around the counties there are plenty of opportunities to see some of these beautiful animals. On an early Spring day I was driving through Worthington Valley and snapped the photo below when I saw these horses grazing near the fence line.
Could there be a world class speedster in the bunch or are they simply for riding and steeplechasing? One thing is certain, these animals live a very good life here in the valley.
