Welcome to the start of another great week!
I hope you enjoyed the weekend. It was a really nice one for me, as I managed to complete some business strategies on my list of projects that I’ve been both wanting and needing to get done. When this year began, like many of you, I had a vision of where I wanted to take things and some ideas on how to get there. Of course that’s only the beginning of the task. The real work is in the implementation of a plan.
With that in mind and to out-maneuver the usual time deficits that seem ever-present, I will reduce my posting schedule here ever so slightly. As a temporary measure I will post 3 or 4 times weekly instead of the usual Monday thru Friday schedule. The extra day or two will allow me to undertake some initiatives and blaze a new trail or two. 
It also provides a little more time for site visits, one of my favorite pastimes.
In any case, much fun lies ahead (and hard work too), and I so look forward to it. One of the many projects that I’ll be tackling is a revamping of my Facebook Page, which I have gutted to some degree. You can help with this effort by clicking by and dropping a few “Likes” on me, should the mood strike you. I thank you in advance.
On to today’s image… taken during one of my 2011 trips to NYC, I stopped out front of “The Met” (Metropolitan Museum of Art) before entering for a day to remember.
I remember arriving here after a very long walk, having left my hotel on 41st and The Avenue of the Americas (6th) and a stroll through neighboring Central Park. Next was the marathon required to cover the museum, where I spent the entire day. Afterward, the trek back to the hotel and with camera gear and tripod to boot. An urban hike, as it turned out. One I’d gladly do again.
