After a string of hot and dry days, most flowers and gardens in the Mid Atlantic Region are more than happy to get a shower of water to quench their thirst. In this case it’s not Mother Nature, but a simple garden hose and sprinkler that has supplied the much needed drink.
I shot this Daylily (of some type) while watering recently and had hopes of drawing in a few birds while I sat off in a shaded area. A few past by for a quick wetting of the wings, but no photo ops were to be had. At least the flowers enjoyed the event.
