Enter the Castle
In today’s post we return to Washington DC where we have a look at a place affectionately known as “The Castle”. The Smithsonian Institute has many museums and buildings spread around Washington but this one is rather unique in it’s appearance. We actually had a peek inside the gates designed by James Renwick in a previous post. This time we have approached the castle-like doors inside the Enid A Haupt Gardens.

I really like the architecture of this building so I was drawn in fairly easily. The fisheye was still mounted after taking the shot of the gates so it was only natural to add a little drama to this entrance.
If you are ever in the DC area, a visit to any of the Smithsonian Museums will be a fine treat.
Have a great weekend, everyone and thank you for visiting!

Clever use of the fish-eye, Jimi! I like the way you seem to have kept the railings on the pathway straight whist letting the fish-eye do its thing on the building.

Cool POV Jimi! Try underexposing the shot a bit more to retain the detail in the skies!
