Welcome back from the weekend, folks. I hope you enjoyed it.

The weather was picture perfect in my neck of the woods, a great time for capturing some images. Prior commitments however, did not afford me the time to take a single shot. But it was a fantastic weekend spent with family and loved ones, and for that I am most thankful.

Today I share an image of a low-lying wooded area, a scene common among places near rivers. There was just something about this scene that I found appealing. Perhaps it was the manner in which the trees sort of forms an alleyway which draws the eye into the background, or the reflective water. A close look about midway the image exposes a few ducks milling about.

A simple 3-shot bracket (+2 to -2) was processed through HDR Efex Pro then Photoshopped to add a little Topaz Adjust.

  1. Beautiful colors and reflections Jimi. And I agree that having the trees frame the water makes a very pleasing composition.
