Welcome back photography lovers!

I hope all is going well for you.

Today’s short post features an image taken at nightfall on Carter’s Creek in the lovely state of Virginia. It is a few coves away from this blue hour image recently posted. The title, “The Edge of Night” may have drawn in a few fans of the soap opera series, for which I apologize, but everyone likes to look at photos, right? :-)

I had given some thought to lightening this image but also considered losing the mood here so it was left in it’s “as shot” state.

It was a very peaceful night on Carter’s Creek which added another page to the many fond memories I have of this area.

Thanks so much for visiting!

[...] The Edge of Night – to call this image amazing is not doing it justice at all.  Jimi Jones captures and posts a photograph taken during the blue hour looking over a creek.  Boats parked on a pier and a lovely character home peeking through the foliage with gorgeous lights from inside help to fully bring this image to life.
