It’s hump day and I can hardly wait for the weekend. Sure could use the break to catch up on a few things.

Today we have a look at a couple of images captured after a night of freezing rain. It was one of those situations where the rain had fallen but was soon followed by a severe drop in temperatures. The result was a nice looking layer of frozen droplets on vehicles and pretty much anything outdoors. Across the Pennsylvania border there is a high-end sports car dealership (Prestige Motorcars of York) that specializes on Corvettes. Their lot is always bathed in a nice soft lighting and the cars, as one would expect, are always spotless. The shots below were captured with a soft focus before sunrise.

We’ll close out with the view from the rear.

Well it’s off for another busy day of fun. Thanks for visiting, we’ll see you soon.

Wonderful shots Jimi. Just love the way the ice looks on that first one. I wouldn’t mind hopping in that monster and taking it for a ride!

What I would give for one of those… I was this close to buying one before I left Hawaii – glad I didn’t because it would have gotten its ass kicked here in Naples. I think its time for a good 5 year old SUV when I get back. Wonderful shots. It must have been cooooold that morning!

  9. Anytime the word Corvette enters the equation, you have my undivided attention! Ours is now coming up on her 25th birthday and everyday we spend with her is a joy. They are beautiful cars, no mistake. These are GREAT shots of this beauty, my friend, you’ve really captured the spirit and character here wonderfully!

  10. Love the way the morning light is illuminated the ice drops on the first image. The contrast of the golden glow with the blue light from the shade on the car itself is wonderful.
